Supportive Doctor

The ECM MP (Emergency Centre Management - Medical Practitioner) course has been designed specifically for Doctors who work in an Emergency Centre, and want to be equipped to manage any patient that presents to a busy Emergency Centre/Casualty. You will be trained in the specific skills needed to manage the most minor to the most major presentations. The course has also been designed to assist those who are interested a Diploma in Emergency care (DipPEC). Please note that further study will be required beyond what is taught here, but it will assist you in your preparations.

The ECM MP course consists of 30 topics which can be watched on any device. Your progress will be tracked so a video cab be paused at any point. On completion of a section you will be required to complete 5 MCQs before continuing onto the next topic. Once you have completed all the topics and the MCQs you will have earned 30 CPD points.

For those who are interested in improving their emergency care but who are less focused on the Emergency Centre, please consider our ECM PHP course. The ECM PHP (Emergency Centre Management - PreHospital  Practitioner) course is also presented by an Emergency Medicine Specialist but with a focus more on the prehospital setting rather than the Emergency Centre/Casualty. The teaching focuses on similar Emergencies but considers their approach, investigations and management outside of the hospital. This is where the access to certain investigations and support is limited. The course consists of online videos which are broken up into 20 topics. Once you have completed the 18 hours of videos you will earn 20 CPD points. There are no assignments or tests required. A video can be paused at any point and your progress will be tracked by the site. So you will be able to complete the course at times that suit you. The course can be completed on any device, including a cellphone.
